The A1C At Home Test Kit is a new way for you to review your last 90-days of activity. The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) testing for all people with diabetes at least twice a year, and four times annually for those requiring insulin injections as well as those who are not controlling their glucose levels. All it takes is two drops of blood from a finger-stick, which can often be done in conjunction with daily glucose monitoring. Simply mail the dried sample to FlexSite's certified clinical laboratory where we process it the day we receive it. We'll mail a report to you and your authorizing physician. Residents of Maryland or Nevada are required to get authorization from their local doctor to order this test. All other U. S. residents may request authorization by the medical doctor at the lab, Flexsite Diagnostics, Inc. to authorize the test. The test is not available to non U.S. residents.
